How we deal with money within our ministry

Christo Nel MyBlog 03 August 2026

Introduction

On 1 August 2026, the first of the eighth month of this year, I believe, a new season begins in which we people are even more effective than in the past.

Not that we have not already made a big difference in the past 48 years that we have been in full-time service to King Jesus within His Ekklesia/Church! No, I always say, because I KNOW BETTER today, I DO BETTER!

Yes, I have served the Lord fully and as best I could and done things every day during these 48 years.

But over the years, I have repeatedly discovered, through good things that have happened, but especially through bitterly bad things that have happened, that how I do things, what I believe in the matter, and how I tell people this, was not always wise and the best way in which I could do it.

Moreover, the Lord has been so faithful and has taught and guided me as He promised in His Word. I have experienced how He guides and teaches me every day through His Word and His Spirit, and also in my time with other believers within the worldwide Ekklesia or Body of Jesus.

Thus, through all my mistakes over the years, I have discovered that there are better ways and there are even more Biblical ways, more within “the will of the Lord” ways of doing and thinking.

Therefore, my motto in this new season: BECAUSE I KNOW BETTER, I DO BETTER!

Apart from the fact that I am convinced that we will especially serve believers around the world better and more effectively in this new season, we will also manage the economy of this ministry better!

My own story in this regard

Up until the end of October 1993, after about 15 years as a Dutch Reformed pastor and teacher in the largest Afrikaans church denomination at that stage – things had changed radically in the meantime – I, like any other pastor and spiritual leader in any of the other churches, received a fixed salary (or as we called it in Afrikaans, :”traktament”.)

After the Lord challenged us as a family to be baptized biblically as believers for the first time, on October 10, 1993, He led us to resign as NG pastors. But He also said: In the world, the principle applies: Whose bread one eats, whose word one speaks. This will never be the case in your life and ministry in the future! I am your total Provider, and I will use My people (the believers) to be the channels through which they “give to Me and My work,” to give you what you need!

The Bible passage that the Lord especially used to teach us this over the years was 2Cor 9, and especially verses 6 to 8, which in the Afrikaans 83 translation is translated as follows:

“Remember this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly; and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

Each one should give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

And God is able to make all things abundantly available to you, so that in all things, always having all that you need, you may have all you need for every good work.”

Just hear how beautifully it is translated in THE VOICE:

"But I will say this to encourage your generosity: the one who plants little harvests little, and the one who plants plenty harvests plenty. Giving grows out of the heart—otherwise, you've reluctantly grumbled "yes" because you felt you had to or because you couldn't say "no," but this isn't the way God wants it. For we know that "God loves a cheerful giver." God is ready to overwhelm you with more blessings than you could ever imagine so that you'll always be taken care of in every way and you'll have more than enough to share."

Let me be honest: This new phase of ministry in our life as a family since October 1993 has been the most exciting part of our ministry in the service of the King, but it has also been the most challenging part, and especially for one reason: To discover how one, as one of God’s Ephesians 4:11 to 16 gifts to the Lord’s Body, makes sense and works economically and financially! How do you make your finances work in a responsible way?

It touches on practical matters such as: We have the same financial needs as any other family – and sometimes even more money, because we sometimes have to go overseas, and have huge expenses for travel expenses and computer and internet costs.

And of course, the fact that the Lord uses His people to make sure that we can have enough! How does that work? Especially when 95% of His children HAVE NO IDEA of what we need, because they are even just busy every day with what they need!

And on top of that, we have to do what we do within a torn and fragmented Ekklesia or Body of Jesus!

Did you know that there are currently more than 30 000 different churches and church denominations in South Africa alone? And each of these 30 000 believes they are right and do things right as the Bible teaches us! That is why they each try to persuade the believers around them to join them and to give financially “to the Lord” right there!

How will God's people know to also give to us, who can and may no longer be part of this “torn and shattered picture of the Body”?

Do you understand now why I said this part was the most challenging part of the new path we have been walking since 1993?

How do we deal with money in ministry?

As I have already said, “our” verses in this regard are 2 Cor 9:6 to 8.

We have therefore chosen in faith to believe that God will always be our total Provider. Of course He will use people as His channels of provision.

Since October 1993, because money can also be a way to manipulate spiritual leaders to do and say what you want them to do, God has challenged us not to ask for or accept a monthly salary or anything similar for anything we do.

Therefore, we have chosen to do everything in the ministry “for free” as much as possible, but also so that believers have the opportunity to give or donate VOLUNTARILY.

People could give what they choose to give (as 2 Cor. 9:7 says), or if they cannot give, still feel welcome to freely receive what we serve.

Here is why we do it this way:

For example, Jesus said the following about prayer ministry: “You received it free, give it free” (Matt. 10:7-8). The early church repeated this by making it clear that Christians may not charge any fees for prayer. (Read, for example, in the Didache 11:12; Irenaeus, Against Heresies, Book 2, Ch. 32, Sect. 4).

We also read how Peter rebuked Simon for trying to buy the power of the Spirit (Acts 8). James commanded not to allow favouritism or favouritism among certain groups of people based on wealth or poverty (James 2), and the apostle Paul often refused or forsook financial support from those who were too poor and had too little, so that the gospel would never be hindered.

But that was only one side of the equation.

AT THE SAME TIME, Scripture also teaches that those who labour to TEACH others in the Word should be supported financially and economically.

Jesus himself said, “The labourer is worthy of his wages” (Luke 10:7), and Paul wrote, “Those who preach the gospel should earn their living by the gospel” (1 Cor. 9:14). He also said that elders who labour in preaching and teaching “are worthy of double honour” (1 Tim. 5:17–18). And the biblical context confirms that this was specifically about financial support.

The apostles taught the Lord's Church that there are kingdom principles such as giving honour where people deserve it, and to sow and reap, which also apply to full-time teachers and ministers within the Lord's congregation. But they also warned strongly against manipulation and even against false prophets and false teachers who exploited people financially.

Paul summarized it this way:

2 Cor 9:6-7 - “Remember this: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one should give as he has decided IN HIS OWN HEART, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

So our personal conclusion in this regard was the following: We never ask for a required fee, but we are open to accepting voluntary offerings and donations, so that we can eat and continue the work of the ministry that God has given us.

When we are invited to speak, we greatly appreciate it if rooms or travel expenses can be provided, but we do not demand it. We do not charge any fees for preaching or teaching. Even with our online ministry for the past 26 years every week, we have done it all for FREE until now.

We have strived until now to love and treat everyone the same. It is important that by what we do and how we do it, we never harm the Lord and His honour, and that we do it in faith and live holy in all areas before God.

Because ultimately, we also stand before our King and Lord in this matter, and we must give an account to Him in this regard.

May the Lord also give you in you and where you give, bless, and remember, it is always an honor and privilege to serve you and minister the Word to you!

So, thank you for the opportunity!

How God is using the ministry of dr Christo and Hetta Nel worldwide at the moment

Dr Christo and Hetta Nel
NEW WINE MINISTRY

In the Service of King Jesus in His Ekklesia

An Ambassador of the Kingdom of Heaven here on Earth

B.A. B.Th. M.Div.  D.Phil.

D. Juris. Theol.

Introduction

Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 10:8: “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You have received freely, give freely.”

Dr. Christo and Hetta Nel, after 14 years of ministry in the Dutch Reformed Church, resigned in 1993 to be available full-time where the Lord wanted to use them worldwide in His Ekklesia.

Since October 1993, at the command of the Lord, they have been serving full-time in faith, with the Lord as their Total Provider who provides everything they need through His people.

Therefore, this information sheet is to inform you exactly what Christo and Hetta’s ministry entails, so that you can make a responsible choice as to whether you want to give in their ministry for the Lord and the coming of the Kingdom.

Why doesn’t Christo receive a fixed salary?

The Lord has explained it this way since October 1993:

As the proverb says: “Whoever eats bread, speaks his word!”

In other words, people and organizations think that if they pay you a fixed salary, then you must say what they want you to say.

“In service of King Jesus”, Christo and Hetta understood, means that you only say what the KING told you to. That is why Dr. Christo’s business card explicitly states: In service of Jesus in His Ekklesia!

This ministry is “good ground”

To help you decide whether this ministry is truly “GOOD GROUND” that can yield an abundant harvest if you were to sow and give in it, please read on!

Then sit at the feet of Jesus yourself and hear from Him whether and what you should sow here.

Christo and Hetta have been serving King Jesus full-time in the Body of Jesus worldwide since 1979.

(See his profile on LinkedIn, https://www.linkedin.com/in/christo-nel-0b511333

They live in Somerset West in the Western Cape, South Africa.

From 1979 to 1983, Christo was Chaplain in the South African Air Force, and he served God's people in uniform and on the Border. Therefore, Dr Christo can also serve all military veterans in this new season as Chaplain and Head of Auxiliary Services. (See more about this below.)

Christo was also a pastor in the Dutch Reformed Church at this time, and after his time as chaplain, from 1983 to 1993, served the Dutch Reformed Church congregation in Potchefstroom-Mooirivier.

However, the Lord convinced Christo and his entire family that they could no longer serve people with what the Dutch Reformed Church teaches as the truth. From now on, they would be used by the Lord to serve “new wine” (as in Luke 5:37 and 38), within Jesus’ Ekklesia, to His people worldwide.

Because Christo understands the theology and the heart language of Afrikaans-speaking people, especially those who come from a typically Reformed background, the Lord can use them to minister what He teaches us through His Spirit through His Word, in a language and in a way that Afrikaans-speaking people in particular can easily understand.

A telling example of this was the new Afrikaans congregation that was established in Potchefstroom in October 1993 as a result of their work there, and which is today one of the largest congregations in Potchefstroom. Today the congregation is known as Duet.

Other ministry platforms

Dr Christo's first book was published in 1996, specifically about the events and his teaching in this congregation, entitled “WAARHEEN MET DIE NUWE WYN” (= where to with the new wine). Since then, this book has been republished three times, and the teaching in it has radically changed the lives of thousands of people.

This was followed by several other books and publications, of which you can read more on the website at www.nuwewyn.co.za .

Since the year 2000, Dr Christo has begun to minister to all the young people who are going to live and work overseas, via the internet. This ministry has been running for 26 years this year and ministers to thousands weekly via email and on all social media platforms.

Read more about this on their ministry website, www.nuwewyn.co.za, as well as on the English version at www.new-wine.co.za

Christo is convinced that virtual platforms and the internet are the way in which ministry and all forms of training (from even pre-schools to doctoral level) can take place effectively and affordably. That is why he has been busy for years working with other Christian leaders to equip leaders in ministry all over Africa, India, and other parts of the world on Open Digital Platforms. He has even created an Open Internet Library where these leaders can obtain and download training material for free.

Christo and Hetta are also fully trained leaders in Harvesters’ Ministries worldwide, which is one of the largest training ministries in the world. See https://harvestersministries.com/

Then, Christo is also one of the catalysts in the world of the Disciple Making movement that equips God’s people to be “disciples of all nations”. He has even built an internet-based App with an accompanying website to help God’s people to disciple others effectively. See www.journey-of-discovery.co.za with the accompanying App that can be downloaded at: https://journey.beezer.com/

The Cape Town Metropolis is currently the second most violent part of the world. From January to June 2019, a tragic number of 1867 people died violently in Syria, a war-torn country, while over 2000 people died violently in the Cape Town Metropolis during the same period.

This is why Dr Christo, as a specialist trained Neuro Multilevel Practitioner and Trauma Counsellor, is in great demand to minister healing and restoration to so many hundreds of people in these and other areas in our country and even around the world.

Christo is also one of a group of 300 selected National leaders who have committed themselves nationwide to serve the Kingdom, and to take South Africa back from the hands of the enemy and to set God's people free. He is also a mentor and guide in various ministries and ministry networks in South Africa, and even internationally. This year, 2026, he was also asked to be one of the senior leaders in South Africa of HarvestNet International. Currently, the leaders of the network are negotiating with Christo to allow him to minister to hundreds of the leaders in the network in America, at the American Headquarters in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, during 3 sessions on “Who shepherds the Shepherd?”

A “new congregation” of ± 500,000!

In January 2025, Dr. Christo was appointed Chaplain and Head of Relief Services for more than half a million Military Veterans!

However, all of this work is completely voluntary! And because there is so much spiritual, emotional, and especially financial need among these veterans, Dr. Christo, with the help of others, founded a Non-Profit Company that can help to serve the huge need. (The name of the non-profit company is the HELDERBOSCH VETERANS’ ORGANISATION NPC, with registration number: 2025/879689/08.)

If you want to support them financially

Your donation in the Kingdom can also be a tax benefit for you!

Did you know that you, as an individual, are allowed by South African tax law to donate up to R150 000 per tax year to a ministry like that of Dr Christo and Hetta Nel?

“A taxpayer can donate up to R150 000 per tax year and not have to pay any Donations Tax. Any amount over that will incur a donations tax of 20% which he will have to pay over to SARS.”

In other words, you as the donor can then declare that donation under “Amounts not considered taxable” on your tax return and will therefore not be assessed on it.

So, you can sow in the Kingdom and benefit from it yourself!

In the same way, I, Christo Alfred Nel, will then, as the recipient of your donation (which can be a one-time or monthly donation), also declare it as a donation on my tax return.

“The recipient should declare on his/her ITR12 that they received a donation under the "Amounts not considered taxable" section.”

If you donate Dr Christo and the ministry, you can use his ID number to declare it. Here is his ID number: 5401105082080.

The Week That Changed History (The Latest Version)

Christo Nel MyBlog 14 April 2025

This is the latest version of this important article that I wrote about the vital events of that week, from the Sunday before Jesus's Resurrection until His Resurrection on that First Day of the week, which would, therefore, have happened the following Sunday after that week.

Regarding the dating of the events according to the Jewish Calendar, my dating is the same as in my previous articles. Note that my latest dating, according to the Gregorian calendar we follow today, differs somewhat from my calculations in the past.

Let us first set down a few solid points from Scripture and specifically from the Gospels and other New Testament books about these events.

• On 14 Nissan the lamb for the “Pesach”-feast had to be slaughtered (Ex. 12:6). It must then be prepared to be eaten that same evening, i.e. on 15 Nissan, which is counted from 18h00 to 18h00, our time, along with the rest of the PASSOVER meal. (See Ex. 12:8).

• These events were, according to the Old Testament Torah law, preceded by a series of events in this regard. Such as the events on the 10th Nissan (four days before the time), when a lamb without blemish had to be chosen and set aside to be slaughtered as the Passover Lamb.

• The day of the PASSOVER meal itself is, according to the TORAH law, counted as a SABBATH, regardless of which day it would take place. (See Ex. 12 and Ex. 23:4-8)

• From the Gospels and other New Testament passages, we know the following information: Jesus is called the Lamb in several passages. (See e.g., John 1:29,36; 1 Pet. 1:19; Rev. 5:6,8,12,13;6:1,9,12,16; 7:9,10,14,17; 8:1; 12:11; 13:8; 14:1,4; 15:3; 17:14; 19:7,9; 21:9,14,22,23,27; 22:1,3)

• From the Gospel accounts, we know that Jesus died on the day of His crucifixion, 3:00 p.m. Because the next day was considered a Sabbath (because the first day of the Passover, with its meal that evening, was also considered a holy day), His Body had to be removed from the cross that afternoon, and He had to be buried in the tomb that Joseph of Armitea had made available.

• Then we also know that Jesus prophesied, based on Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah, that He would be in the tomb (or literally “in the heart of the earth”) for three days and three nights. (See Matt. 12:40; 27:63; Mark 8:31; 9:31; 10:34; John 2:19)

• We also know that the women went to the tomb on the first day of the week, in other words, Sunday morning, after the crucifixion events were over and the Body of Jesus had already been in the tomb for three days and after the regular Sabbath was over. (See e.g., Luke 24:1)

Introduction

Most Christian believers commemorate the crucifixion events on Friday, which they then call “Good Friday” for this reason, which would then be followed by the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus on Sunday as the first day of the week.

The reason for celebrating the Crucifixion of Jesus on a Friday is because Luke 23:24 states: “And it was the day of preparation, and the Sabbath was about to begin.” (Some translations, such as the 1983 Afrikaans Translation, have therefore also interpreted this verse in this way. The NIV consequently translated it as: “It was Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was about to begin.”

Although one therefore understands why many Christians around the world celebrate the crucifixion events as a “Good Friday” event, it is very clear from the facts of the events that the crucifixion happened on Wednesday.

One can say that it is about celebrating the events and that it offers followers of Jesus the opportunity and privilege to be silent with other family members and other Christian believers about a week of events in Jesus’ life that changed each of our lives.

I disagree with this, and in writing this article, I have tried to show why the precision of what and when these events took place is important because they deal with historical events that changed the entire history of the world. If we cannot even account for such events to ourselves about the real facts of the events, how can we testify about them with credibility to a lost, but very critical and cynical world, which is already wondering about and whether there are credible grounds for the Biblical message and specifically what is said and testified about Jesus.

Therefore, in this article, I want to offer readers the opportunity to meditate on the details of the historical events of each day of this vital week.

May the living God himself, through the working of His Spirit, use these truths to touch and set everyone free anew.

After all, the truth alone sets us free!

That week’s events that year in which the first day of the Pesach on 15 Nissan did not fall on an ordinary Sabbath

THE SUNDAY

Before I talk about that Wednesday’s events, let’s begin our reflection with the events of Sunday, usually called “Palm Sunday” in the church worldwide.

This was the day Luke 19 and John 12:12 and onwards tell us about. It was the day that Jesus rode into Jerusalem, the city of King David, on a donkey.

As before, when a king of that time, the crowd threw garments and palm branches down before Him to show Him honour as the King from the line of David. All exactly as the prophecies in Zech. 9:9 and Dan. 9:25 – 27 had predicted centuries earlier would happen.

According to Exodus 12, the lamb for the Passover to be celebrated later that week was to be chosen on the tenth of the first month of the Jewish Year, the month, Nissan.

According to the custom in Jesus’s time, only lambs from the Bethlehem area were considered suitable to serve as a lamb for the Passover celebration. Therefore, during that week in which Pesach was celebrated, on that particular Sunday, a lamb born in the Bethlehem’' district was chosen and brought into Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives’ side, through the Sheep Gate.

This would be the same route that Jesus took that Sunday in that week on His triumphal entry into Jerusalem. (See Matt. 21:1 ff.; Mark 11:1-11; Luke 19:28-38; John 12:12-19)

As He entered, the people shouted: Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Save us, Son of David!

In this manner, Jesus from Nazareth was announced with acclamation as the long-awaited Messiah of Israel, and the crowd chose their Lamb for the Passover!

However, this lamb had to be examined by the spiritual leaders first. As taught in the Torah, it had to be a lamb without blemish and without spot to be suitable to be slaughtered as a lamb for the Passover.

Therefore. we read how Jesus, after entering Jerusalem, first went to the temple to teach there. (See passages on this, such as Matt. 21:23 ff.; Mark 11:27-33; Luke 20:1-8)

While He was there, the Pharisees, Sadducees, and the teachers of the law came and tried to trap Him with all kinds of difficult questions, trying to expose Him as a liar. But they could find no fault in Him.

The dating of these events

Let me confess honestly right away that it is very difficult to date these events now according to our calendar. As you remember, initially it was dated according to the Jewish Lunar calendar, while we are using nowadays the Gregorian calendar.

The reason for this is that because the Gregorian calendar (which has been followed since 1582 and is based on the movement of the sun), has very strict rules and can therefore be easily adjusted and calculated. In contrast, the Jewish Rabbis, who determined the dates of the Jewish Festivals each year according to the 28-day cycle of the Moon, sometimes used their own rules and preferences to calculate when a particular festival, such as Pesach, which had to be celebrated as a Sabbath, could occur in a given year. Furthermore, to make things even more complicated, some of these festivals could not be celebrated on a Monday, or a Wednesday, or a Friday, but only on a Sunday, a Tuesday, a Thursday, or a Saturday, according to the beliefs of certain groups of Jewish Rabbis.

But, with this in mind, let us try to date these events according to the best research and calculations.

If we start from a date in which the Pesach meal on the First Day of the Pesach celebrations took place on a Thursday, then the date of that year would be 30 A.D.

15 Nissan of that year, 30 A.D., then fell on 5-6 April 30 A.D. (Remember that the Jewish Thursday already began on Wednesday evening, 18h00!)

Then this particular Palm Sunday would fall on 2 April 30 A.D.

THE MONDAY

On the particular Monday of the week in which the Passover was to be celebrated, every form of yeast, as a symbol of evil and sin, had to be removed from every house according to the instructions of the Torah. Therefore, every Jewish mother searched her house with a candle for any form of it on this day.

Therefore, Jesus went to the temple as the house of God on that very Monday and then drove out all the money changers (Luke 19:45 ff.).

THE TUESDAY EVENING

Because Jesus and his disciples were not in Jerusalem that year but in Bethany, a small village just outside Jerusalem, it was permissible for them to make preparations there the day before and celebrate the Passover meal. (Luke 22:14 ff.; Matthew 26:17-35; and John 13:36-38 tell us about it).

Later that evening Jesus is arrested in the garden of Gethsemane, which lies on the road from Bethany to Jerusalem (Matt. 26:36-46; Luke 22:39-53).

THAT WEEK HAD TWO SABBATHS

Because it is important for a correct dating and understanding of the events of this important week, I want to reiterate here that the week in which the Passover was celebrated could sometimes have two Sabbaths if the Passover fell somewhere in the middle of the week.

The year 30 A.D., according to the Jewish calendar, was just such a year. Therefore, we find that in such a week, the First Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, on which the Passover meal was celebrated in the evening, would be counted as a Sabbath according to the Jewish festival calendar. Later in the week, the regular Sabbath is then celebrated on the seventh day of the week as usual.

As I said, the week when Jesus was crucified was just like that.

Let me begin to chronologically place the rest of the events of that week for you in light of this.

WEDNESDAY MORNING AT 06H00

According to the Jewish calendar that particular year (30 AD), the “day of preparation”, with the Passover meal that would follow later that evening, had to take place that Wednesday.

Jesus, our perfect Passover lamb without blemish, had to be prepared to be slaughtered and die in our place.

Everything started happening that Wednesday morning at 06h00 when Jesus was tried and sentenced by Pilate. (John 19:13-16)

WEDNESDAY MORNING AT 09H00

In the temple in Jerusalem, the High Priest tied the chosen lamb for the Passover to the horns of the altar, as was ordained for the 14th Nissan.

Jesus was nailed to a cross on Golgotha at 09h00 that morning.

According to our Gregorian dating, Jesus was crucified on Wednesday, April 5, 30 AD, or Nissan 14 that year, according to the Jewish lunar calendar.

15H00, THAT WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

After a sudden solar eclipse of three hours from 12h00 that afternoon, simultaneously with the time that the lamb was to be slaughtered in the temple (according to Exodus 12:6), Jesus died at 15h00 that Wednesday afternoon (Matt. 27:45 ff.). After three hours of “hell,” He could say: “It is finished”, and He could finally breathe His last.

Everything that needed to happen to make forgiveness of sin possible was done. The victory was achieved, and therefore, Jesus could peacefully surrender His life to the Father.

Now you and I can say in faith with boldness and certainty: I have been delivered from the hands of the enemy by the Blood of the Lamb!

But even more than that happened at that moment.

Matthew tells us about it in chapter 27, verse 51, and onwards.

It was as if God the Father from heaven wanted to help the people of that time to understand that what happened here was of cardinal importance. Yes, the history of the world changed with these events!

To fully shine the spotlight on exactly what happened at that moment, God, with His own hands, took hold of the thick curtain that separated the Holy part of the temple from the Holy of Holies.

And then God ripped it apart and tore it from top to bottom!

Yes, it was that same curtain through which the high priest could walk only once a year into the Holy of Holies!

Suddenly, it was gone! No more was any separation left between the Holy and the Most Holy, where God himself sat in His holy presence and waited to speak to His people.

For this reason, in Hebrews chapter 10, we read about the boldness with which every believer could now appear in the presence of the Holy God after these events. (See Heb. 10:19)

To further emphasize what happened here, God uses everything He has to keep the community talking about these events for weeks and years.

Suddenly, there was an earthquake, and graves opened. People who had recently died and been buried suddenly came out of their graves alive and began walking around the streets of Jerusalem for everyone to see and talk to!

It was as if God wanted to say: This is a new beginning! The old covenant with all its things was over. A new relationship with Me is now possible. Everything that the Old Covenant, with all its festivals and laws, wanted to remind you of, were now only like signposts wanting to lead you to Me and to what happened here!

All these things from the Old Covenant served their purpose. From then on, the laws would only serve to convince unbelievers that they were sinners and lost!

Yes, it would finally remind them that Jesus Christ had come as the Messiah and Lamb of God, who had to die this very week like the Passover Lamb of old.

EARLY EVENING, BEFORE 18H00 THAT WEDNESDAY

With the Passover celebration to take place after 18h00 and the Sabbath rest ahead, the believing followers of Jesus had to take His body down from the cross and lay it in the tomb that Joseph of Arimathea had donated for it.

Mark 15:42 and further tell us about it.

THREE DAYS IN THE TOMB

According to the Scriptures and the prophecies, Jesus would be in the tomb for three days and nights.

So, he was there that special Sabbath (or first day of the “Feast of Unleavened Bread”), which extended from Wednesday 6:00 p.m. to Thursday 6:00 p.m.; followed by Friday (which extended from Thursday evening 18h00 to Friday evening 18h00); and then also for the Jewish Sabbath (from Friday 6:00 p.m. to Saturday 18:00).

Early that Saturday evening, after 18:00, with the dawn of the Jewish First day of the week, Jesus rose from the dead after three days in the tomb.

Exactly what time it was, we do not know.

Jesus himself prophetically declared that He would be crucified, die, and be in the tomb for three days and then rise again.

Thus, many other prophetic passages are also fulfilled with this, namely, Hos. 6:1,2 and the sign of Jonah (Matt. 12:40).

That Saturday evening, according to the Jewish festival calendar, the priest also waved the “First fruits Sheaf” of the harvest before God to dedicate the new harvest to God (Lev. 23:10-11).

That is why the Risen Jesus is also called the “First fruit” in 1 Cor. 15:20-23.

EARLY SUNDAY MORNING

Early that Sunday morning, April 8, 30 AD, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary, and later also some of the other disciples, discovered that Jesus Christ had risen as He Himself had said would happen (Matt. 28:1 ff.).

Therefore, we can say with the believers throughout the ages: Hallelujah, we truly serve a living Lord! (1 Cor. 15). Jesus Christ truly rose, and He lives.

Unlike all figures worshipped in other religions, we serve a Living, Risen Lord.

If He had not truly risen, our faith as Christian believers would be in vain. (Read 1 Cor. 15 about this)

SUDDENLY THIS BECAME THE WEEK THAT CHANGED HISTORY

Anyone who reflects on the realities of this week's events cannot help but think for the first time, or in remembrance, about Jesus and who He was.

Who was Jesus of Nazareth really? Was He just an ordinary man who lived from the 11th  of September 3 BC to the 5th of April 30 AD?

What about all the remarkable things He said and did?

What about the fact that everything He said, even about His death, happened exactly like that?

He even said that He would rise from the dead after three days!

Could He then have been just an exceptionally good man or just a prophet, as some would describe Him? That cannot be if the events happened as I have told you.

And if He did not rise from the dead, He was a liar and could not be a true prophet.

What's more, He claimed to be God who became man!

Anyone who is really serious about this and wants to be honest in light of the facts cannot just say that He was just another exceptionally good man or prophet.

Either He was the biggest liar and psychopath who ever lived, or He was who He said He was: Namely, God who became man to finally redeem us.

Yes, then Jesus of Nazareth was truly the Savior who came so that everyone who believes in Him may have life and have it abundantly!

How an A4 can tell the nations about Jesus

A prophetic word for 2025 and the years following (all 7 parts)

Christo Nel MyBlog 25 February 2025
  • #Prophetic2025
  • Ekklesia
  • Kingdom economy

Part 1 - Be still before the Lord and let Him touch and heal you

Ps. 46:10 (11) – Be still, breathe a little, and then experience that I am God! High above the nations, high above the earth! In control of everything around you, among the nations, on earth, and even in the financial markets!

Ps. 62:5-8 – I find my rest in God alone because in Him I trust. He is my salvation and my strength. He is my rock, my strength. He is my refuge.

Isa. 30:15 – If you repent and come to rest, you will be saved. Your strength lies in being still and having trust.

Mark. 4:39 – Allow Jesus also to calm the storms in your life.

Luke 4:35 – Allow Jesus to also tame the dragons and evil spirits in you.

We often forget that as believers we are not only a spiritual being. God’s picture in His Word of us as human beings is that we are spirits, with a soul, dwelling in a physical body.

The day we choose to say “yes” to Jesus and accept Him as Savior, Lord, and King, God the Spirit comes and regenerates and renews our spirit.

God the Spirit came to dwell in our spirit, to be our Helper, Chaperone, Teacher, and Leader who wants to guide us through His Word and His voice.

God the Spirit dwells in us to “sanctify” our souls. Rom. 12:2 says: Allow Him to renew your mind (actually your whole brain, frontal lobe, and emotional brain and that part of your brain that determines your choices and actions). So that you can know what God’s will is for your life 24/7.

God's Spirit is also a Physician and Therapist who wants to heal you from trauma, emotional pain, depression, feelings of inferiority, legalism, that spirit of perfectionism, but also that bipolarity, confusion, addiction, and dopamine addiction from which you suffer.

Allow Him to minister to you and heal you.

Therefore, God has set up members of His body, other believers around you, and even members of the fivefold ministry, to touch and heal you within a community, a faith family around you.

He wants to be there for you and minister to you every day, especially when you deliberately become quiet in His presence or seek His face in worship, praise, and prayer.

Come, step into Jesus' consulting and healing room.

Here you can relax because you are in the presence of the Living God who loves and cares for you.

Chill, breathe, and become aware of His presence in and around you.

You are safe here! Everything is under control because the King of kings is totally in control!

And He knows you intimately. He even knows about the war that is going on inside you. He knows all your thoughts, and how you sometimes struggle with yourself and what is happening around and in you! He knows everything, and He still loves you unconditionally.

Yes, He even knows about the battle inside you that Paul talks about in Rom. 7 and Gal. 5. Those dragons that rise now and then, wanting to come out of the cage, breathe fire, and bite and hurt others.

He knows that many days you can't even understand yourself. You are His child and want to serve and love Him, but sometimes you do and say things against your grain!

This is then, like Paul in Rom. 7:24 and 25 when you can only take hold of your identity as a child of God and confess what God is saying about you.

Yes, where you repeat the words of Rom. 8: There is no condemnation for anyone who is in Christ Jesus and who holds on in faith to what He has already done for us.

All we have to do now is to allow His Spirit who lives in us, to take over the steering wheel in our lives. Yes, we can only hand over control to Him and allow Him to guide us, change us, renew and heal us wherever necessary.

Of course, this would also mean to be more sensitive to His voice. Yes, we must even allow Him to pray with us, in tongues or otherwise. We must allow Him to minister to us and lead us through His voice, and to comfort and remind us that we have an ABBA, a Daddy-Father in heaven, who loves us and is busy with us in the details of our lives.

Yes, the work He has begun in us, He will complete. As Rom. 8:28 says: He can use to our benefit even the worst that happens to us in this broken world full of broken people, where terrible things can also happen to God’s people. When and where the enemy intended to steal from us and wanted to destroy us and even kill us if he could, our God can use it to our advantage and for our healing. Yes, He can change our “mess” and make it part of our “mess-age”!

Please listen to this prayer also for you in 1 Thess. 5:23 and 24:

“May the God of peace make you completely devoted to Him; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ!

He will do this also, for He who calls you is faithful.”

That is why the Lord is busy talking to you about your health and getting back to the basics needed for better and optimal physical health.

Allow Him to minister to you about this as well.

Go, and even spend time with believers who you know God is using in the area of healing. This is your time too!

Part 2 - I am busy revealing My master plan so that My Kingdom can come.

The Lord reminded me of how He revealed Himself to me in a new way more than 30 years ago. He showed me that God the Son, Jesus, is not only Savior, Lord, and King, but also the Baptizer with the Spirit.

During that time, He took me to His Word and showed me how He revealed Himself progressively to humanity throughout the ages.

Yes, already there in Genesis 1 we discover Him to be the only true Creator-God, the Father who, as it were, gives birth and life to everything that exists and would ever exist.

We also discovered Him there as God the Word, who speaks and sows Word-seed, and then there was light, or the waters separated into what we now know as “earth” and “sea”, etc.

God also revealed His plan of redemption and restoration. Yes, that He would become an ordinary man, can you believe, as the Messiah, to come and live among us on earth for a while?

On September 11, 3 BC, according to our best research, God the Son was born as a Jewish boy, Jesus, in the village of Bethlehem, in Israel. The angels also described Him as Immanuel, God with us.

As an ordinary man, He lived among us for more than 33 years, to be crucified on April 9, 30 AD, died, and then rose from the dead after three days. For 40 days thereafter He showed Himself to be alive and be the new King on earth, to more than five hundred people. (1 Cor. 15)

Jesus, God the Son, then prophetically revealed to us that, after His ascension, He also became the Baptizer with the Spirit, who will send God the Spirit to this world to come and live IN each of God's people and to be with and in us every day.

God's heart this new season, is to make His Kingdom visible on this broken earth full of broken people, through His people, ON whom the Spirit came and supernaturally equipped each of them with supernatural gifts and abilities. And through us, He wants to magnify His Name and make His kingdom visible here on earth, piece by piece.

Jesus as the Baptizer with the Spirit, would also give specific people who would not only be ministering to others through the gifts of the Spirit but also be "God's gifts" to His Body, the Ecclesia, here on earth.

Listen to what God's Spirit reveals to us about this in Eph. 4:11 to 16:

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”

God instructs His people, the Ekklesia, to go and minister the Good News, the Gospel of the Kingdom, to people. Their task is to testify about Jesus and what He did and spoke. The world around them will recognize them by the way they love one another because it will be the same love with which Jesus loved. God will also use them to heal people and free them from all kinds of demonic bonds that bind them.

Yes, in this they will do the same thing that Jesus did, as God prophesied through the prophet Isaiah there in Isa. 61.

That is why we see and hear how God's people, through the anointing of the Spirit, heal people, prophesy, minister wisdom and supernatural detailed knowledge, reveal demonic powers at the helm of affairs in people and communities, make miracles happen, and as a new caliber of "ministry leaders", begin to step forward to serve new wine and new wineskins everywhere as pioneers in so many areas.

Jesus revealed in Luke 5 that most communities will look strangely and hostile towards them and to what God's Spirit revealed through them.

Yes, God's people will even be persecuted and killed because of what they are doing and saying!

It will be as if these people whom God anointed to serve "new wine", are 10, 20, or even 30 years ahead of their time, and most people will not be ready for what they are offering to the world!

The Lord God says: In this season, I am busy revealing My Master Plan everywhere on earth about how My people, My Body, the Ecclesia, in unity, begin to join hands and together begin to seek My heart and plan in areas where I have given them supernatural authority and wisdom and insight.

Supernatural synergy and unique supernatural solutions will be found for vexing questions and challenges of our time!

This is what you see happening around you now, says the Lord.

If you have not seen it, ask Me and I will open your eyes to it. I want to give you a new hope. I also give you a new calling. So, that you can understand what I want to use you.

Of course, I will use each of you in a unique, different way.

Come and sit at My feet and hear from Me what My plan is for you.

Come and hear from Me where I want to use you as the garden hose through which My grace, My love, My healing, My Word, My deliverance, My life, and it in abundance, will flow.

Assure that you are firmly connected to Me as the Faucet, as the Source. Then life will begin to flow in abundance.

Know also, says the Lord, that what I am doing in this season, is going to be something new and different.

As I have revealed in Revelation 18:4, people will hear Me saying: “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.”

You know that I referred to Babylon, and everything in service and part of Babylon’s control in this world.

This practically means, reveals the Lord, that you can no longer be a part of it.

You cannot and may not give and invest your energy, lives, time, and money there anymore. Yes, even if you have waved and represented My flag there for many years.

That time is over, says the Lord.

Come, sit at My feet, and let Me specifically explain and reveal to you what it means in your life to “come out of her”!

“Come out of her, My people!”

A New Picture of the Biblical Ekklesia (Part 1)

For years, the Lord has been speaking to me prophetically about what He means by the concept of “new wineskin” in Luke 5, specifically regarding how the Biblical Ekklesia should look like to what we know as the “church-as-we-know-it” (C-A-W-K-I).

It was remarkable how the Lord served me “new wine” sip by sip; otherwise, I would have simply choked on it because I was too accustomed to the “old wine” and to my traditional understanding of God’s Word.

In my first book, “Where to with the New Wine,” I described my theological understanding as a fortress with solid walls. While it contained wonderful Scriptural truths, many theological lies and misinterpretations of Scripture were strategically cemented within those walls. However, God's Spirit systematically began to knock down one wall after another in my understanding of Scripture.

As is the case with any change in thinking, I had to be "re-taught" by God, through His Word and Spirit, from the beginning to learn how to read and understand God's inspired Word with new eyes and a new understanding. In my situation, He also used the theological chaos that erupted in the Dutch Reformed Church to facilitate these shifts.

Today, more than 30 years after this change in thinking began in my life, the Lord shows me how these lies He pointed out, are also embedded in every part of the "(C-A-W-K-I)." worldwide. Therefore, this prophetic word I received is meant for every part of the "(C-A-W-K-I)." across the globe.

The Lord reminded me of how He showed me in 1988 in Switzerland and in the rest of Europe the roots of many theological lies and misunderstandings of His Word in the teachings of the Reformation of 1517 and the years that followed. The enemy has managed to embed numerous lies and misunderstandings of the Word into the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, from which Martin Luther, Calvin, and many other reformatory leaders originally came, and so, also became part of the teachings of the Reformation itself.

Consider, for instance, the concept of “baptism” inherited from our Roman Catholic background, where infants are sprinkled with water, and this act is described as a biblical “baptism.” This also led to a distorted understanding of the “church,” whereby one becomes a “member” of the church simply by being baptized as a baby or as a child of believing parents.

Then came Emperor Constantine the Great, a young and confused Christian believer, who, under the guidance of misguided spiritual leaders, legislated that congregations and churches must be “led and taught” by theologically trained leaders; otherwise, it was deemed “against the law.” This led to the creation of thousands of man-made, man-invented “church systems” all over the “C-A-W-K-I” that were never God’s intention.

What makes this tragedy even greater is that this “C-A-W-K-I” must rely on money and a Mammon-driven collection system to maintain these man-made church systems. This explains, in short, the fragmented nature of the “C-A-W-K-I” characterized by thousands of man-invented “churches,” “church” systems, congregations, and even “church brands” worldwide around us, despite Jesus’ declaration that HIS CHURCH IS ONE.

This situation affirms Jesus’ words in Matthew: “No one can serve two masters at the same time. He will either esteem one less and the other higher, or he will have more for one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon.”

Therefore, I hear the Lord say: This is why the current movement away from typical Christian church systems is happening worldwide. This is happening not because My people no longer love Me and Jesus, nor because they no longer want to serve, says the Lord. Rather, it is happening because they love Me and want to serve Me with power and conviction!

I am busy, says the Lord, with a total reformation and re-creation of what you know as the Church of Jesus. This is why many of you find yourselves in limbo concerning your relationships with other believers around you in your daily life and work.

This shift also impacts the spiritual leaders I have called to serve full-time in My Ekklesia, says the Lord.

Therefore, says the Lord, this is also why I told you, as one of My fivefold “gifts” (Eph. 4), back in 1993 that I would be your ONLY PROVIDER and LORD. You must never allow anyone to influence your life and ministry through a monthly salary. No one may manipulate you with money or prevent you from saying or doing what I instruct you.

Thus, I hear the Lord say, return to the biblical picture of the Ekklesia, as we saw in the congregations of Acts and in the approximately 300 years that followed that day of Pentecost. This is also why He is calling His people worldwide, echoing the words of Revelation 18:4: “Come out of her, my people!”

A New Picture of the Biblical Ekklesia (part 2)

For years the Lord has been speaking to me about this. However, it is only now that He has given me the freedom to prophesy openly about this.

So, gird yourselves, for this is what I hear the Lord say about this. Of course, as with anything I or anyone else does prophetically, you know what God says about this. As in 1 Thess. 5:19 ff.

“Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”

So, what do I see in God’s Word and hear Him say about the new wineskin that can accommodate what He wants to do in the Ekklesia to bring His Kingdom to earth?

Can I quickly remind you who we are talking about when we talk about the “Biblical Ekklesia”?

We are talking about people who at some point had a personal faith encounter with a living Jesus, God the Son, as Savior, Lord, and King.

He has His grace that He came to offer us through His Word and the Spirit through His incarnation, life, death, and resurrection. We have accepted it in faith and chosen to serve and follow Him for the rest of our lives.

So, God the Spirit has made us new, “reborn” creatures, Jesus says there in John 3, and He has come to live in us to guide us and teach us all that Jesus has done for us.

God the Spirit now wants to supernaturally equip and anoint everyone who is part of the Ekklesia with the gifts of the Spirit so that the Lord can use us as witnesses and ambassadors of the Kingdom of heaven here on earth.

For us, Jesus continues: Above all, keep seeking and be sensitive to My voice, because I want to show each of you how you fit into My plan to let My Kingdom come and what My will is for your life.

For us, Jesus continues, e.g., in John 13:34,35: “I give you a new commandment: that you love one another. As I have loved you, you also must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”

In so many places in His Word, He then spells out what loving and being family in Jesus practically means and what it looks like.

After all, you remember what is written about this in passages of Scripture such as in the book of Acts; 1 Cor. 12 to 14; John 14 to 17; the entire book of Ephesians; and 1 John.

Do you know that the word, “Ekklesia” within the typical Roman Empire referred to this group of chosen, equipped individuals who were then sent out by Rome to be “set down” somewhere in the Roman Empire, locally in a town or city, to practically demonstrate and live out the new, better way of life, and values and hope for a better future, among all the people in that community. In such a way community can taste and experience “something of heaven on earth” among them!

Thus, the Ekklesia of Jesus was called to be ambassadors and representatives of a new, better life, to make the “Kingdom of heaven” happen here on earth! People around us must see and experience this in loving and caring for each other.

Next time I will talk more about what the Lord says prophetically about this.

A New Picture of the Biblical Ekklesia (Part 3)
We are talking about what I hear the Lord prophetically saying about "the new wine skin" that can now truly accommodate the biblical Ekklesia.

The new picture of the Biblical Ekklesia that I see is where the community around us truly sees and experiences a community of believers where "biblical koinonia", love between believers, and being there for one another is the way of life, 24/7.

How are they going to see it?

They will see what was seen and experienced in Jerusalem and other towns from May 30 AD, after the day of Pentecost, as we read about in the Book of Acts.

Yes, they will see and experience how we practically love each other and are willing to share everything, except our spouses!

Listen to how Acts 2 and 4 describe all of this.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

And: “All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.”

Need I tell you how the Ekklesia became a deliberate and focused part of the communities in which the Lord set them down, to be there between them all the time on the lookout for what the real needs around them were and then listened very sensitively to how the Lord wanted to use them to minister supernaturally to those needs.

Furthermore, they sensitively waited for open doors, hearts, and opportunities to witness the Good News of the Kingdom of God that had also arrived for these people and this community.

In a world demonically driven and manipulated by a spirit of greed, egos, and fear, the Lord will use us as 1 Thess. 5 says, to demonstrate a new, better way and style of life there in the community.

Listen to what Jesus said in this regard.

He said He is placing the Ekklesia literally on the doorstep of hell!

With the promise and knowledge in their hearts that the God who put them there, promised as Jesus said to Peter in Mat. 16: "Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

“Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

In Matthew 5, Jesus said that the Ekklesia within this new wineskin will be this Light and this City on the mountain:

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

So, we will have opportunities again and again to oppose the demonic spirits head-on in the name of Jesus. He will use us to minister and address distress, hurt, trauma, broken relationships, and even poverty and its roots, in the name and with the power of our King.

Therefore, within this new wineskin, we cannot be at peace with all the unscriptural teachings, traditions, and demonically driven divisions in the “CAU” (church around us) where the enemy has God’s people still in its claws in all sorts of ways, and where believing people are still his instruments to block and stop what God wants to do.

Because this new wineskin is so revolutionarily new and different, it won't do any good to try to repair or renew the existing man-made church structures. No, it will require a radical paradigm shift where we allow God to serve us "new wine" through His Word and Spirit and we start drinking it!

The rest, of course, will follow automatically through the working of the Spirit.

A Fresh New Kingdom Economy! (part 1)

The Lord began to speak to me prophetically about what I want to call the new, fresh Kingdom economy.

He reminded me of the events in Numbers 13 where Moses receives instructions from the Lord to send men out to explore the land of Canaan that He wants to give to the Israelites.

Then we read in verse 23 the following: “'When they reached the Valley of Eshkol, they cut off a branch bearing a single cluster of grapes. Two of them carried it on a pole between them, along with some pomegranates and figs.”

I and others around me are currently experiencing that the Lord is busy showing us revelations, new patents, new platforms, and systems, on which and through which the economy of God's Kingdom can take place, separate and apart from the typical Babylonian system to which we are so accustomed. And He says: It will be like this giant cluster of grapes from the Eshcol Brook that makes God's people gasp for breath and say: We want a share of this!

To enter Canaan, the land of milk and honey, we must, as Revelation 18:4 says, come out of Babylon (a type of Egypt at that time). This will mean that we dare in faith and say yes to step into what the coming of God's Kingdom will require of us; yes, a new Kingdom economy, and everything else that God's Spirit reveals to us in this regard.

Within this new Kingdom economy, we as God's people have only one citizenship; we are citizens of the Kingdom of God here on earth, and part of the City on the mountain that Jesus spoke of, built on the foundation of the Kingdom.

During the past year, the Lord has begun to show you in many ways, also through this ministry to you, how money and our assets work within God's economy.

Thus, the Lord has taught us that everything, everything, everything, belongs to God alone. All the land, all the gold and the silver, yes, everything on earth and in heaven.

He also teaches us in His Word that we, His people, His Ekklesia, have inherited everything in Christ Jesus!

Think carefully about what this exactly means!

Looking around us, it seems as if the Body of Jesus has nothing, or seemingly only has enough to survive each day!

That is why I am so grateful for what the Lord is teaching us. Yes, He has begun to teach us more about how money, finances, and assets should flow within the context of the Kingdom that is to come here on earth.

He also taught us that although money is neutral, the important question is: Is it in the service of Mammon or the service of God and His Kingdom?

Money is always at work. The only relevant question is: On whose side is the money working?

The Lord also shows how His people, because we believe the lies of the enemy, invest what He gives us in the world's systems, in the service of Mammon!

And there, in the service of the enemy, in businesses, companies, banks, and other financial institutions, it is making the enemy's agenda happen on earth.

Just think of all the listed companies on the stock exchange, in South Africa and the world. Think how many of them have bought into the typical WOKE agendas of the world and are busy in one way or another promoting abortion and other demonically driven objectives.

Everywhere on earth, I hear God's people ask: But, Lord, where is the money we need to do what You have commanded us to bring about Your Kingdom?

Then I hear Him answer: I have already given so much money to My children in the Body but what have you done with it? Look at how much you used to serve your selfishness, greed, egos, and fears. Why have you made so much of it available in the service of Mammon and the enemy?

So many of you even give to the “church” to build and maintain “churches” and “church buildings”, because you believe that you are giving to Me and the Kingdom, but you do not see the hold of Mammon and Babylon within those church systems.

It is time for you to come and sit at My feet so that I can show you My heart and what I have been busy with around you for so long!

A Fresh New Kingdom Economy! (Part 2)

Friends, God wants to show us the new Biblical picture of the Church or Ekklesia that He wants to use to bring His Kingdom to pass and get things in place so His Kingdom can come!

The Lord is busy building platforms where His people can invest and do business the day they withdraw their money and assets from Mammon-driven systems and platforms.

Sit at the feet of Jesus and hear what He means when He tells you as is written in Revelation 18:4: “Come out of her, my people!”

Then we as the Ekklesia can start talking and working together on an economy in service of the Kingdom and start investing in it.

What do platforms and channels that can make God’s heart happen for now look like?

Where should we, like Noah, build an ark?

Should we, like in the Old Testament, start laying out and building cities where people can flee if necessary?

How can we use and invest gold and silver, and everything that God has entrusted to us so that it can truly serve God’s Kingdom?

Do we have plans in place when the Lord brings the “wealth” and assets of the nations to the righteous and His people? Is the Lord perhaps waiting for us before He lets it happen?

Everywhere in Scripture, we hear that it is God’s heart to bless His people out of their shoes and use them in His service!

Therefore, I want to conclude this part of the prophetic word with a picture the Lord showing a prophet in our inner circle.

The Lord showed a Menorah with its seven lamps and said that Africa and what is happening here will be like a Menorah that must bring light to the nations!

On the one hand, the Lord has blessed us with this treasure of natural resources and “wealth”. He has anointed us with a spirit of generosity to share these resources and “wealth” with the world where and when needed.

His heart is that we will be a place where people come to who are looking for a refuge of some kind and where they can experience biblical forgiveness and healing for spirit, soul, and body.

For this reason, the Lord has anointed and supernaturally equipped His people in Africa with a supernatural spirit and gift to be there for other people and to want to serve them.

In the midst of all this, this “new” that is in God’s heart is going to be born!

The Lord says: Through Africa and what is happening here, I give birth to things that I also want to happen in other parts of the world.

Because the Western world is so caught up in the clutches of Mammon and Babylonian systems, these things will happen in Africa. Africa has always been open to My Word and to the leading of My Spirit, says the Lord. Yes, it has become a problem and opened doors for the enemy to sow chaos and confusion.

However, I see their heart, I hear the Lord say. That is why I use this continent that in the eyes of the world is “third world”, and “so backward and poor”, to give birth to the new things that I am busy with.

The Jubilee year and restoration that I already prophesied there in Isaiah 61, is happening here!

Those streams of abundance and anointing will start flowing here, from these “tribes” in Africa according to My will, and in line with My heart and righteousness.

I don’t know if you know, but with the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah on October 3-4, 2024, the year 5785 has arrived.

It is important and prophetically insightful that those two 5s in the Jewish year and the 5 in our year 2025, prophetically shout out just one word: Grace!

The number 5785 says as it were: Grace at the beginning and grace at the end! Grace at the front, and grace at the back. From beginning to end it is only God's grace on all sides!

God's grace is Jesus' grace, Kingdom-of-heaven’s grace!

Thus, the Lord surrounds us as His children with His grace amid a broken world full of broken people, and can "Jubilee", and God's year of grace happen here!

Hear the word of the Lord, children of the living Lord and King!
